I’m on record as saying that Jalen Rose is one of my favorite basketball players ever, namely for the sheer absurdity and candidness he displays whenever anyone asks him a question. I mean, who wouldn’t love a man who delivers a quote like this when asked what he did when his then Raptors team arrived in Detroit after midnight to play the Pistons the next day:
“By the time we got [to Detroit], it was almost 2 in the morning, ain’t nothing open but hospitals, jails and legs.”
However, Jalen is apparently still catching up with the times in terms of being internet-saavy. Check out this clip of Jalen and C-Webb reminiscing about their high school and college basketball careers (although I don’t ever remember them playing college basketball), and listen for Jalen’s recommendation on how to go online and find a certain retro basketball shoe (should be just under a minute into the video).
