They'll swear it's not related, but the Panthers have scheduled a vist for Seattle WR D.J.Hackett. Curious that it comes the day after Dwayne Jarrett gets arrested for DWI.

Hackett's visiting Washington today, Tampa Bay Thursday and the Panthers Friday, according to his agent. The agent also said this morning that they had some conversations with the Panthers prior to yesterday.

Hackett's battled some injury problems, but would be an interesting part to a receiving corps searching for someone to grab a job and hang onto it other than Steve Smith.
