Freddie Mitchell Is Bumping His Gums Again
Ex-Eagle Freddie Mitchell is doing what he does best. Talking too much.
Even though he completely sucked as a pro, was cut from two teams, and has been out of football for 3 years, Freddie thinks he is prime for an NFL comeback. Ex-Fred had a tryout with the Toronto Argonauts(Canadian Football) last year. and he could not even make that team.
“Success is situational,” Mitchell said. “The right coach can take an average receiver and put him in the Pro Bowl.”
You keep on believing that Freddie. Maybe one day you can play for the Soul.
Freddie also explains how his relationship with Donovan McNabb had soured over time.
“Me and T.O. were the best of friends, and that hurt my relationship with Donovan [McNabb],” Mitchell told the Los Angeles Times Thursday at UCLA’s Pro Day. “There were issues between me and Donovan.”
There were issues all right, and it was Freddie’s big mouth. You should at least be good, before you start throwing your QB under the bus. Freddie was in no position to ever talk about anybody negatively.
Freddie should just shut his mouth and stick to substitute teaching, or whatever it is he does for money.

March 21st, 2008 at 8:59 amPinky was better than Freddie. Freddie Mitchell was a short, slow, small receiver who was almost useless. He did not play special teams well, and he averaged about 1 catch a game. He talked a big game, but never lived up to it.
