The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers defeated The University of San Diego Toreros to advance to the sweet sixteen. UCLA will face off against WKU on Thursday, though the game time has not been announced.
I want to address a concern that many have addressed: that UCLA might possibly lose to the #12 seeded Hilltoppers. Ummmmm…AHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAAAAAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA
Anyone that would, even jokingly, bring up the possibility that UCLA could lose to the freakin’ hilltoppers is freakin crazy.
Folks, UCLA is a #1 seed. #1. Do you really think a #1 seed is going to lose to a DOUBLE DIGIT seeded team???
I mean, yeah, upsets happen. A cinderella will win a first round game every once in a while. But we all know they NEVER go farther than the sweet sixteen.
NEVER.
EVER.
And don’t forget. WE ARE UCLA. 11 national championships baby! The basketball gods would NEVER let that happen to us. We are untouchable.
I mean. Why don’t you ask John Thompson Jr? He’d NEVER let that happen.
Okay, that was an aberration. At least his son, John Thompson III wouldn’t let that happen. Of course, you know Thompson III even made a commercial where he watches his father’s team get upset and learn’s the hard lesson that any team can win any game. Surely, he’d never lose to a Cinderella team.
Surely?
Surely.

your an idiot. UCLA puts their jersey, pants, and shoes the same as WKU. I guarentee you that if Courtney Lee has a 28 point game and Brazzleton scores 25 and Geremey Evans has 6 blocks… WKU WILL WIN i dont care how god and who the UCLA “basketball gods” are.

Apologies for the erroneous interpretation of your post in my blog. I explained it a little more in the comment section of the post I made. Basically, the blog has 2 authors. One guy was writing the original post and e-mailed me late today asking me to finish the post for him. I screwed up and didn’t bother checking the link since I was pressed for time.

WKU played very well against a PAC10 powerhouse dude, they didn’t lose that badly. You will see more of wku in the future just like Butler, wku will become a prominent mid major basketball program. I haven’t really liked UCLA as of lately. They have become cocky like a lot of the pac10 universities, and you can see the money part of the program through the media every year. Howland is a punk. I would have loved to see WKU beat that ass in the sweet sixteen.
