Timmy Chang’s younger brother.  Falling like a lead weight, which may be why he interests the Birds.

RB Xavier Omon - NW Missouri State

Physically, seems like a Tony Hunt clone.

RB Justin Forsett - Cal

5-6th round projection, 3rd down scatback.

RB Kalvin McRae - Ohio

Little guy, tough, undrafted FA draft grade.

RB Danny Woodhead- Chadron State

Caucasian RB from D-II, no thanks. 

RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis - Ole Miss

7th round grade - moving up boards.

RB Albert Young - Iowa 

Smallish back (5′11″ 209) that can catch the ball out of the backfield.  Undrafted grade.

FB Jacob Hester- LSU

Best FB in CFB.  6th round grade. 

WR Jordy Nelson - Kansas State

3-4th round grade - big WR with return ability.

WR Adarius Bowman - Oklahoma State

3-4th round grade, compared to Braylon Edwards.  Two out of three Senior Bowl QBs remarked Bowman to be the best player on the team.

WR Donnie Avery - Houston

The black Kevin Curtis - 2-3rd round grade.

WR Eddie Royal - Va Tech

Lit up the combine. Small, big play WR.

WR Limas Sweed - Texas

Monster WR, 1st round grade.  Wrist injury problems present a red flag.

WR Early Doucet- LSU

Same measurables as Jason Avant - 2nd round grade.  Quick sudden type guy.

WR James Hardy - Indiana

Harold Carmichael Jr. - 6′6″ - 1-2nd round grade.  Questionable character.  Private workout.

WR Earl Bennett - Vanderbilt

Most productive receiver in SEC history.  2nd round grade. 

WR Harry Douglas - Louisville 

Slight build.  Big time speed and playmaking ability.

WR Darrell Blackman - NC State

KR specialist.  Led ACC in kick returns in 2006.  Jack of all trades.  Undrafted grade.   

WR Jerome Simpson - Coastal Carolina 

D-IAA guy.  Possesses huge hands and extremely long arms.  However, couldn’t catch a cold at the combine.  Big game player.  3rd/4th round grade.  Private workout.

WR Shaheer McBride  - Delaware State

From Chester, PA.  Jack of all trades WR that good at everything, yet great at nothing.  7th round grade.  Private workout.

WR Devin Thomas - Michigan State

 One year wonder who is listed at the top wideout on many scouts draft boards.  Lit up the combine.  Could slip to the Birds at 19.  1st round grade.  Private workout.

WR DeSean Jackson - California

Most athletically dynamic guy in the draft.  Tiny at 168lbs,  Elite kick returner.  Could step in and help on day one on the return teams.

WR Dexter Jackson - Appalachian State

The man who brought Michigan to its knees.  More of a return specialist than a WR at this point.  3/4th round grade - which seems high to me.  Only returned two kicks for TDs in college. 

WR Malcolm Kelly - Oklahoma

Went into the offseason as the #1 WR prospect in the draft.  Lack of a combine workout followed by bad 40-yard times at his Pro Day have pushed him down the board.  Has been compared to Larry Fitzgerald.  1st/2nd round grade.   

TE Fred Davis- USC

Pure receiving TE.  Can’t block a lick.  2nd round grade.

TE Kellen Davis - Michigan State

Has all the measurbles and speed.  One year wonder at MSU.

TE Martin Rucker - Missouri

Didn’t run at combine.  More of a WR than pure TE.

TE Jermichael Finley - Texas

Skinny, rangy.  Needs to add considerable bulk.  3rd round grade.

OT Heath Benedict- Newberry

 D-II guy.  Enormous (6′6″ 328).  Tested well at combine.  [Benedict was found dead in his home on 3/27/08]

OT Chris Williams - Vanderbilt

Athletic and long.  Needs to hit the weight room.  Reportedly Andy Reid’s favorite player at the Senior Bowl.  Private workout.

OT Devin Clark - New Mexico 

4-year starter.  Could be more of a OG at the next level.

OL Franklin Dunbar - Tennessee State 

Marginal athlete.  Massive (6′5″ 328).  Undrafted grade.  Scheduled to visit.

OL ONeil Cousins- UTEP

Rare athlete on the line.  Looked bad at Senior Bowl.  More of a mauler than a technique guy.

OL Duane Brown - Virginia Tech

Insane athlete for his size (6′5″ 315).  Developmental guy.  Former TE.  Tested off the charts at the combine.  Can Castillo mold him?  3rd round grade.  

OG James Blair - Western Michigan

Monster (6′4″ 337).  Flabby body.  Slow.  7th round grade.

OG Mike McGlynn - Pitt

Tackle likely moved inside in the NFL.  3rd round grade.

OG Mackenzy Bernadeau - Bentley

D-II guy.  Highly athletic, but not massive (6′3″ 298).  All-American.  Project guy.  7th round grade.  Scheduled to come to Philly for interview. 

C John Sullivan- Notre Dame

Lacks bulk (284 lbs).  3rd round grade.  No idea why he would interest the Birds at this point.

PK Greg Whibbs - Troy

16 or 18 in FGs in 2007.  5 of 7 from 40+ yards.

DE Wallace Gilberry - Alabama

Better run stopper than edge rusher.  4th round grade.

DE Jeremy Thompson - Wake Forest

Tested well at combine, but looked terrible in positional drills.  Another 4th round grade.  

DE Kendall Langford - Hampton

Monster DE (6′6″, 295).  Looked great in Senior Bowl drills.  3rd round grade.  One of my favorites.

DT Andre Fluellen - Florida State

Small (6′2″, 285) penetrating one-gap tackle in the mold the Eagles usually target.  Oft -injured.  5/6th round grade.

DT Kentwan Balmer - North Carolina

Classic underachiever who had a breakout year in 2007.   Questionable work ethic.  2nd round grade. 

LB Dan Connor - Penn State 

Birds need another LB like they need a hole in the head.  Delaware County kid that was probably interviewed out of respect.

LB Malik Jackson - Louisville

Rush LB who followed a monster Junior season with a Senior season to forget.   

LB Red Keith - Central Michigan

Mike LB.  Undersized.  Undrafted grade.  

CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie - Tennessee-State

Small school guy who has played his way into the 1st round.  Had a pick in the Senior Bowl, and ran a 4.33, 40 at the combine.  Sleeper no more.

CB Simeon Castille - Alabama

Physical corner that lacks athleticism.  Could project to a free safety at the next level.

CB Leodis McKelvin - Troy

Elite cover corner.  Lacks ball skills.  Likely off the board before the Birds pick.

CB  Charles Godfrey - Iowa

CB/S tweener.  Good timed speed, stiff hips, slow pedal.  3rd round grade.  With Considine & Paschal on the roster, do the Birds need another Iowa safety?

CB Antwaun Molden - Western Kentucky 

Insane combine performance.  Could be a free safety prospect.  Private workout.

S Thomas DeCoud - Cal

Tall (6′2″) rangy free safety with the athletic ability to line-up at CB.  Big hitter.  4/5th round grade.  Intriguing.

S Haruki Nakamura - Cincinnati

First team Big East senior year.  Interception and fumble recovery in Hula Bowl.  Not invited to combine. 

S Marcus Griffin - Texas

Michael Griffin’s lesser brother.  SS prospect.  Ony one pick in collegiate career.
