Otra for Ochoa
Lorena Ochoa is still rolling and doesn’t seem like she wants to stop. Already, at 26, she is the youngest player ever to be eligible for the Hall of Fame. She has the same amount of starts this season as Tiger Woods does on the PGA, but she has one more win. Lorena won again with a final round 69 to win the Ginn open by three strokes.
“I’m very grateful. It’s been a blessing, you know,” Ochoa said. “But I know that bad times will come. It’s just the way life is. I’m just trying to enjoy my moment, and I would like to enjoy it for a long time. So even if it’s going to be an up-and-down ride, hopefully I can stay there.”
As modest as she is, I’m sure her momentum will keep her on top for some time.
