D'Antoni a Knick
An NBA source close to the situation told The Boston Globe today that Phoenix Suns coach Mike D'Antoni has accepted the New York Knicks head coaching job.
Despite having two years and $8.5 million on his deal with the Suns, D'Antoni was given permission by the team to interview for openings with the Knicks and the Chicago Bulls.
D'Antoni has a career record of 267-172 after coaching Phoenix for four seasons and Denver in one.

BULL sh**t
No offense to your sources, but...I don't think so. Reinsdorf was meeting with D'Antoni this weekend. Unless the Bulls majority partner told D'Antoni flat out that he isn't going to pay him $4+ million per year for 4 seasons, why would D'Antoni go to the far worse job? The Knicks are a trainwreck with a roster that doesn't fit D'Antoni's schemes and are at least a 3-year rebuilding project away from being anything more than mediocre.
There's been way too much misinformation and spin on this story already. Until D'Antoni comes out himself and says what he's decided to do, I'm taking all the reports from "sources" with a LARGE grain of salt.
Way to go Knicks... you now have the best coach out east.
The almighty dollar.....
A Suns fan and annual ticket holder who got tired of D'Antoni screaming at the refs even when the team was waiting for him during a timeout.. The players would follow the coach and loose concentration.
Look at the third quarter they would almost all the time loose their lead. Why? The coach would not use the bench and tired legs would show up;. Also, he became arrogant after the new big contract. After that, he would not listen to his bosses and even yelled at them Steve Kerr is a ten million dollar partner when the new ownership purchased the Suns. He is also president of basketball operations and general manger.
