Justin Masterson to start Tuesday

I had originally thought Bartolo Colon would make the start on Tuesday but its being reported that Justin Masterson will be called up to make the start. Masterson pitched a pretty good 6 innings giving up only 1 run in his major league debut for Boston a few weeks ago. Unfortunately he has struggled massively since being sent back down to Portland (16 ER in 19.1 IP with 3 losses.)

Colon will probably need at least one more start in Pawtucket before he gets called up. Since he only threw 64 pitches in his last outing, they want to make sure he can throw 80-90 in a game before they promote him.
