Lottery Complete, Mock Database Grows
By PennSkinsFan | May 21, 2008
With the NBA Draft Lottery taking place last evening and establishing the Top 14 picks, the Internet’s largest Mock Draft Database grew. The Database now lists 73 NBA mock drafts, up from 61. It is the largest listings, a one stop shop, for all of your NBA mock draft desires.
The database is in its third successive year, has grown dramatically, and is modeled after our internet famous hailRedskins.com Mock Draft Database for the NFL.
Munching the mocks together, it is clear, the top two choices to be number one overall are Michael Beasley and derrick Rose. 43 Mock drafts have Beasley being the number one overall choice, while 30 target Rose. That is changing however. The consensus lately seems to be sliding toward Rose as overall first pick. As expected, the numbers are essentially swapped for number two overall, with 40 mocks having Rose at #2, 29 with Beasley
At number 3, it gets messier. The clear favorite is Brook Lopez with 37 mocks having Lopez going third. 15 mocks have Jerryd Bayless at third and 11 have OJ Mayo at third.
As for Washington Bullet fans, the Bullets will have the 18th pick. Here are the top 4 choices for the Bullets at #18:
1. C Roy Hibbert
2. G Ty Lawson
3. C Kosta Koufos
4. C JaVale McGee
The trend: Koufos, McGee, and Hibbert.
DCPSR own Mock Draft is on its way soon. Out Top 3 are Michael Beasley, Derrick Rose, and Brook Lopez. It will be posted soon.
Don’t forget, DCPSR also has a NHL Mock Draft Database and a MLB Mock Draft Database.
