Kershaw Call Up Imminent?

I hope he doesn't pitch as bad as he looks.

After much speculation that he would be called up last Saturday, it now seems that the Dodgers are preparing him for a debut on next Tuesday.
"Kershaw faced three Carolina Mudcats, struck out two, then was yanked by manager John Shoemaker, completely healthy. By starting Thursday night, Kershaw is on schedule to start again Tuesday, which happens to be the next time the Dodgers need a fifth starter in Chicago."
While next Tuesday is the conservative estimate, Kershaw's early exit could also indicate a debut as early as this coming Saturday.*
"By throwing only one inning and a pregame warmup (the equivalent of a bullpen session), Kershaw could be slipped into the Dodgers rotation as early as Saturday night, when Brad Penny is scheduled to start. That would buy an extra day or more for Penny, who has scuffled through his past four starts while pitching through shoulder stiffness."
The Dodgers haven't made anything offical yet, but it seems like his promotion is coming sooner than later. If it does happen, Kershaw has a good chance to help the Dodgers in the short term.

All I know is that if they pulled him after 1 inning simply to keep his innings down, it was the most retarded move possible. How is he supposed to learn command by pitching 1-5 innings every start?
