Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig has cracked the whip on amateur baseball teams across the country for infringing on MLB’s trademarked team names.I've never really been a fan of Bud Selig's but this one takes the cake:

First, Bud went after the Cape Cod league, specifically the Chatham “A’s,” Hyannis “Mets,” Orleans “Cardinals,” Yarmouth-Dennis “Red Sox” and others requesting that share revenue derived from the sale of merchandise bearing the names of Major league teams.

Are you kidding me?? Are the Majors hurting for money that bad that they need to go after little leaguers?

Now in a similar situation, Scrooge Selig has declared war on 12-year-olds across America, sending the infringement police to Little League baseball, ordering teams to change their names or face lawsuits.

Thanks to Barstool sports for puttin me up on this one.

Major league baseball, players, ownersand concessions all make more than enough money now. In my estamation to much. Now Big Bad Bud wants to get his hands into little leagues shallow pockets. Instead major league baseball as a whole should be donating to little league baseball. This would keep kids interested in baseball and possibley give them a career in the sport of baseball.Shame on you Bud and anyone who stands beside you.

Well said Cain. They really should be encouraging it and if they play as their favorite teams they will want to keep playing.

I remember when I was in little league, my team was the Reds… The real reds always sucked so we strove to be the opposite. We lost to the fucking a’s though. oh well. Maybe thats why I hate the A’s now
