Wide receiver Marcus Robinson, a member of the Chicago Bears from 1997-2002, will officially retire as a Bear.
Robinson was a product of the University of South Carolina and drafted by the Bears in the fourth round of the 1997 NFL Draft. In 1999, he set a Bears record with 1,400 yards receiving.
Overall, he had 187 catches for 2,695 yards and 20 touchdowns during his six-year tenure in Chicago.
Robinson had also played for Baltimore, Minnesota and most recently, Detroit.
With the uncertainties the Bears currently face at the wideout position, you’d wonder if head coach Lovie Smith would do well to coax Robinson out of retirement.

If Lovie doesn’t talk him out of retirement, the Cowboys might try…
