MLB Sleepers of the Week - Week 13

Who is going to wake up this week? You may see some unexpected names on the list this week and a name you haven't even seen or heard before. Check them out though; see if you could use them as help and give them a try.

Elijah Dukes (Washington Nationals - RF) - Dukes is going to be future force on the Nationals and he is showing it already. Last night he had a five hit game which included the game-winner against the Rangers.  He looks like he is going to be a monster hitting machine. He has 33 hits in 40 games played this season, compared to 35 in 52 games last season with the Devil Rays. He's only owned by 12% of GMs and 8% of them picked him up last week because he finally showed the total package. He batted .393 while driving in runs and stealing bases. Perfect mixture of speed and power and once he really settles in, he's going be strong.

Troy Tulowitzki (Colorado Rockies - SS) - Troy struggled in his first game back from the DL, but showed a sign of turning it around Saturday when he hit a double and single in four plate appearances and drove in a run against the Mets. Troy said he feels good and his confidence is still high, so I feel he's going to turn things up this week. Keep an eye on him.

Manny Parra (Milwaukee - SP) - Manny has won his last four games and made his then 2-2 record into an interesting and impressive 6-2 record. Last week he threw seven innings and gave up four run, four walks and struck out five. He has been pitching very well lately and although he's given up some hits and some runs, he's also has a lot of run support behind him. He is only owned in 36% of leagues and 22% just picked him up, so grab him and ride it out.

Willie Bloomquist (Seattle Mariners - 2B, 3B, SS, OF) - First thing you notice about Willie is the option to put him in at four different positions.  Willie has no power, but can hit a lot of junk thrown at him. He's only played 35 games this season and has 14 runs, eight stolen bases and 15 hits. He went 8 for 16 this past week with four runs and two stolen bases too. If you are in desperate need of some hitting and speed, here is a simple answer.  And if you go to pick him up, he'll be there. He is only owned in 0.3% of leagues, so it's free almost everywhere.
