Reports had the Eagles showing interest in acquiring Jason Taylor from the Dolphins prior to Taylor's trade to the Redskins yesterday.

The Dolphins were seeking a second and fifth round draft choice from the Eagles for Taylor.

If this is indeed the final year before the "Championship Window" closes on the Eagles (and we usher in the Kolb era) Taylor would have been a nice veteran addition opposite Trent Cole.

Though one does have to question how much Taylor has left and his dedication to football and not Hollywood. I still stink the Eagles will be fine at the DE position with the addition of the young, speedy Chris Clemons, along with Abiamiri and Parker.
