Well, I admit to I have been slacking lately and a lot of news has passed since I last posted anything. I had some personal issues going on at home and work. I apologize for not posting anything.

Ok, here's the news:

Adam Jones is a Cowboy "in principle". They are still working on some contract issues right now to get it finalize. Basically, we give up a 4th round pick from this year's draft and a conditional pick next year. To me, this was too much. However, there are conditions to this trade. If Jones plays "significant" time during this season, Tennessee will get that conditional pick next year. If Jones does not play for some reason or the other (not reinstated or gets into trouble again), then the Cowboys get a 4th round pick in next years draft. There is no guaranteed money or bonuses.

I think if you have read my blog before, you know I did not want this deal to go through. I felt that his character issues was something the Cowboys didn't need. But since it did go through, I find myself wondering how to cheer and not like a player on my team.

Other news, on the eve of the draft, the Cowboys send Akin Ayodele and Anthony Fasano to Miami for a 4th round pick in this years draft. I figured Ayodele would be traded due to the signing of Zach Thomas. Fasano was traded due to open up some salary cap room and his production wasn't up to what the Cowboys wanted. This is only my opinion. Cowboys still have Tony Curtis and he just caught TDs last season! They also have Rodney Hannah. Cowboys could go with another TE in the later rounds of the draft.

During the draft I will post information about the Cowboys picks. Cowboys will have 9 picks this draft.
