Avery Hearts New York. Not.

Mr. Dipshit

Oh this is rich!

Sean Avery, as you all know, managed to make his own path out of New York by a) asking for a lot of money; and b) acting like clown shoes. Instead, the Rangers spent money on acquiring Wade Redden from Ottawa and Markus Naslund from Vancouver.

Now Avery is safe and cozy with the Dallas Stars. And while being introduced(!) to the media the other day, someone asked him why it was the Rangers didn’t want him back. As you’d expect, when Avery opens his mouth hilarity and idiocy follow.

Says Sportsnet:

“It’s an interesting situation because then they turnaround and spend it on guys they shouldn’t have spent it on.”

“It’s going to be an interesting situation; certainly I’ll sit back and watch. New York is a tough place to play. Markus Naslund is going to have a tough time, so is Wade Redden. New York fans aren’t going to put up with those guys. I don’t think that they’re going to live up to the expectations.”

“I’ve gone to a better team.”

Ok, so let’s count it up. He shit on Redden, Naslund, all his former teammates in New York, Sens fans and Canucks fans. Oh, and probably a shitload of Rangers fans.

Man, I strongly dislike fucking hate this guy. Hey Sean, now that you’re in Texas you should take some time to go investigate that vandalized gravesite out by the old Hardesty Place. It’s right near the old slaughter house that was recently closed down, you can’t miss it. If you get lost just ask for directions at the gas station and be sure to have some of the chili – It’s to die for.

Avery is hilarious. Sad to have lost him from the Rangers, but I guess there was no way they were going to put up $4M per season for him… It’ll be fun to watch him not live up to expectations in Dallas…
