It is clear that neither Bobby Bowden or Joe Paterno will retire while the other is still coaching. Bowden has the most career wins in college football, a record he’s willing to take to the grave, literally. With JoePa just 1 game behind Bowden, foolish pride simply won’t let these 2 dinosaurs walk away.
JoePa is 81 years old, in terrible health, and has left the Penn State Nittany Lions sideline multiple times over the past few years during games. And he smells like old people.
Bowden is 78 years old, and hasn’t truly coached the Florida State Seminoles in over a decade. He can’t even figure out what the X’s and O’s stand for anymore.
So really, who is going to die first, so that the other can finally retire?
