Arrrrrrrrrgh!
Lap 5 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. is being black-flagged because he passed before the start-finish line, he is making a pass-through penalty and will go at least one lap down.
Lap 84 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. is running lap times even with the leaders but his mistake on the start may have cost him the race. He's scored 38th with 31 cars on the lead lap as Michael Waltrip and Bobby Labonte go a lap down.
I think I'll watch the Olympics. Pfft.
Update 8/24/08:
Ok, ok so I managed to switch over to the race for the last couple dozen laps. I was figuring that Kyle Busch would win the race, but Carl Edwards made a bold move that changed everything.
I'm was not a Carl Edwards fan, however after that race I am now!
What's up with the childish antics of Kyle Busch? You know when he does the same thing to someone else, it's just a racing deal. But when it happens to him, he throws a tantrum.
I am glad Carl Edwards did what he did and I hope NASCAR doesn't punish Carl Edwards for retaliating.
By the way, Junior managed to gain a position in the standings. I could just slap him for making such a dumb mistake.

What a rookie that Dale Jr. is, ya know? Like his daddy didn't teach him anything.
I switched to the Olympics at 9 because I was so frustrated with Kyle leading...again. Truly sickening. I did keep checking on how the race was going and listened on the radio. I will never be a fan of Carl's because of the time he almost took Junior's arm off by body slamming his car, but I will cheer him on if he's trying to beat the Whiz Kid, and I mean whiz in the sense of taking one. lol
I'll say this.....Jr. messed up....but it looked good while it was happening. I was under the impression that was allowed too. Guess we were both wrong. They'll be in my neighborhood this weekend...one can only hope. Cheyenne...you so funny! Peace, Mike.
