If anyone needs proof that the Carolina fan base is backing what head coach Butch Davis and his team here is a small tidbit for all of the doubters. The home opener and first of the season against Division IAA McNeese State is a sell out at Kenan Stadium this coming Saturday at 6:00 p.m. EST. But, in what could be the better news in my opinion, is that four out of the seven home games for the Heels are sold out.
From the official web page of North Carolina Athletics it says that there is still some single game tickets for the Connecticut (10/04/08 - Time TBA), Boston College (10/25/08 - Time TBA) and Georgia Tech (11/08/08 - Time TBA) games. All of the season tickets were sold and so if you are looking to see your squad play in 2008 in one of the most beautiful stadiums in college football you should hurry, because I think they will not last long.
