On Monday, Cleveland Indians outfielder Grady Sizemore belted his 30th and 31st homeruns to go along with his 34 stolen bases on the year, bringing him into the 30-30 club. While Sizemore’s year hasn’t been the subject of much national attention outside of fantasy baseball circles, the 30-30 mark puts the 26 year-old in historic company. He’s just the 32nd Major Leaguer to accomplish the feat, and just the 10th American Leaguer. Sizemore is certainly making that Bartolo Colon trade a few years back look genius on the part of Cleveland management, who landed Sizemore, Cliff Lee (the frontrunner for AL Cy Young), and Brandon Phillips (now with Cincinatti) in exchange for The Big Guy.
With another month left in the season - what do you think, can Sizemore go for 40-40?
