Colts center Jeff Saturday is expected to miss the first six weeks of the season after partially tearing a knee ligament during Sunday night’s preseason game with the Bills.
Per the Indianapolis Star, Saturday will miss even more time if he decides to have surgery to repair the torn MCL.
His agent, Ralph Cindrich, told the Star that Saturday will miss six or seven weeks without surgery, and 11 with the procedure.
Rookie Steve Justice likely will replace Saturday, who’s entering the final year of his contract.

Does anyone not think this is the year the Jags take the AFC south?

Jag fans have thought it for 4 years now.
As a Colt fan I’m glad they still have Jack Del 50cent as their head coach. That’s always assurance they aren’t winning the South.
That and the fact your mom could start at receiver for them right now.
They do have the 375 banner however. I wonder if they will take it to LA with them.

Hmmm, when was the last time Peyton played without Jeff Saturday? This doesn’t sound good for the Colts.

It sucks to lose Saturday, but I have a feeling the Colts won’t miss a beat.
Kinda like when everyone thought the Colts world would come crashing down when they let James go…..and Peterson…..and June…..and Thorton…..and so on.

Best thing for the Colts would be to NOT win 13 games and the 1st round bye. They always get bounced early that way. If they win 10 or 11 and have to play they’ll be fine.
Hey, anybody remember what happened the last time Peyton suited up during Wild-Card week? Oh yea, a Super Bowl victory.

Isn’t there this center who hasn’t played in a couple of years thanks to the Browns medical staff still waiting for a starting job?
