The American team dominated the Europeans in the singles matches to win the Ryder Cup 16.5 to 11.5 for the first time since 1999.  Captain Paul Azinger created a team that was young and inexperienced but full of emotion.  He got a team that played with a spirit that has lacked in the last three events.
