Sarah Palin Was For The Phillies Before She Was Against Them
The buzz before the Phillies huge win over the Nationals tonight in Philadelphia was the appearance of Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin at Pat Burrell's favorite pick up spot, the Irish Pub. We're told she received the royal Philly treatment and was showered with boos as well as chants of "Sarah go home!" Also in attendence at the bar was the head man of the Flyers and Sixers, Comcast-Spectacor Chairman Ed Snider. It hasn't been confirmed yet but Ed was reportedly trying to recruit Mrs. Palin to give Simon, Scottie, and Braydon a ride home from practice tomorrow at the Spectrum.
Rumor has it her next stop is Flushing, New York to help support the Mets post season trip to nowhere.

Do they really think that if she throws on a Phillies coat and Flyers hat the city is going to vote for her?
And for her informaton this is the city of brotherly love. Sisterly is a quite unnecessary touch to that. Makes us sound like sissies.

Seriously...pathetic..."aye, look at me, I'm a phillies fan, dontcha know..."

Wow... not gonna lie, that made me want to punch her in the face even more... she's so full of shit, it's ridiculous.
Fuck Palin!
OBAMA / BIDEN 2008!

Hahaha...all politicians are full of shit, and you are just deceiving yourself if you think otherwise...
Posted by: DSD | Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 12:50 AM
At least Biden probably likes the teams being from Delaware and all
Posted by: Liam | Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 12:50 AM
Biden may support the Phillies, but that isn't what Obama wants him to support, so he will have to do some back-peddling again. Biden is now a Cubs fan...or is it the White Sox?

The city of brotherly and sisterly love not only makes us sound like "sissies" as Liam said, but it's also patently wrong.
The term Philadelphia, literally means the city of brotherly love -- it's not just a phrase attached to the name of the city.
It comes from philos, meaning "loving of" and adelphos, meaning "brother."
Is anyone surprised Palin is wrong... again? She is genuinely a stupid person, and as a result furthers the sexism in this country: hot, but stupid.
On a more exciting note, go Phils!!

now I am not knocking female politicians but does palin seem like more of a bitch than hillary? I mean I may not like hillary as a person but I atleast agree with some of her positions. Palin will make you pay for your rape kit if you get raped. now thats a bitch. Yeah I said it.

Biden is from Scranton. No political leaning attached. It has as much place on this site as a debate has in the CBP 300 level.

No more full of shit than any idiot who would elect a man who has absolutely no experience leading anything but campaigns.
But that's right, we can't talk about how inexperienced Obama is. It's not like he was only a senator who accomplished nothing for two years and then began running for president.

@ TJB
Exactly. Obama has less political experience than Palin, yet all you hear about from the liberal media is how unqualified she is. Absolute bullshit.
And to answer a previous question, NO ONE is a bigger bitch than Hillary.

I like her in the Phillies jacket. Sure looks better than old shuffleviews Joe and talking head Obama

anyone willing to get beligerant about politics might want to readjust their one-tracked views. Its not comparable to a sporting event, its more like a relationship.. work together kids. Besides, i dont want to pay for your health insurance.
On another note, the one who exclaimed 'fuck palin,' can i answer with.. okey dokey?

Anyone who point to Obama's inexperience needs a history lesson. Does anyone know the last Illinois state rep with "no experience" to run for President? Try Lincoln. He seemed to do pretty well, guiding this country through it's worst inner struggle in history. Another inexperienced, "too young" candidate... JFK. Another bad choice, right? Open your eyes. Obama has much more experience than Palin, and for those claiming it's a "liberal media" that's funny, considering the head of the Associated Press attempted to fund McCain's campaign, and supported Bush.
Anyone else wanna throw out garbage responses?
Posted by: Nick | Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 10:11 AM
I highly suggest you don't compare Lincoln to Obama. You'll really have no ground to stand on.
Posted by: TJB | Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 10:23 AM
I actually think I do. Both were Illinois State Representatives, considered to have "no experience." What else is there to know until Obama is elected in serves? All I'm saying is "no experience" isn't a big deal. News flash -- no one has experience being President until they do it -- and honestly I'd rather a couple of guy's who went to amazing schools like Columbia, Harvard, and Syracuse University. That also reminds me... Clinton was considered to have no experience, and all he did was take this country out of the worst deficit in history. I hate these people with no experience, all they do is bring fresh ideas into Washington. But who wants that when we have a record debt, a shit economy, jobs being outsourced overseas, and two wars. Fun!
Posted by: Nick | Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 10:29 AM
Not to mention both Lincoln and Obama have challenged the United States citizens regarding racism. Both were/are considered very liberal... I mean what else? Both are lawyers... I'm finding lots of ground.
But can we agree on one thing? Phils are clinching today, baby!
Posted by: Nick | Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 10:36 AM
yes.
