No major changes in this week’s rankings. Graham Harrell has leap-frogged Max Hall after a huge game on Saturday, and Sam Bradford has done the same to Jeremy Maclin. For the first time in two weeks, no player has fallen out of the Top 5.

(NOTE: Last week’s rankings are shown in parantheses.)

1. Chase Daniel, Senior, Missouri (1)

@ Nebraska: 18-23, 253 Yards, 3 TD
Season Totals: 119-156, 1,665 Yards, 15 TD, INT

Daniel walked into a tough environment on Saturday night and walked out still almost perfect. Watching the Tigers play offensive is simply stunning. It has been awhile since I have seen an offense that can just go down and score on every single possession, and Daniel is the biggest reason for that offensive success.

This Week: #17 Oklahoma St.

2. Graham Harrell, Senior, Texas Tech (3)

@ Kansas St.: 38-51, 454 Yards, 6 TD; Rushing TD
Season Totals: 158-237, 2,027 Yards, 18 TD, 3 INT; 2 Rushing TD

Harrell had an absolute monster day on Saturday, accounting for 7 total touchdowns. Because of his big game, he has jumped over Max Hall in the rankings. After playing Nebraska and Texas A&M the next two weeks, the Raiders will play four consecutive ranked teams. It will be those games that will make or break Harrell’s candidacy.

This Week: Nebraska

3. Max Hall, Junior, BYU (2)

@ Utah St.: 23-37, 303 Yards, 2 TD, 2 INT
Season Totals: 130-181, 1,587 Yards, 17 TD, 4 INT; Rushing TD

Hall had a solid game, it just is unfortunate for him that Harrell had the kind of day that he had. Hall will have to watch his back again this week. If Bradford has a big game against Texas and Hall has another good-but-not-great game against New Mexico, Hall could find himself even lower in the rankings.

This Week: New Mexico

4. Sam Bradford, Sophomore, Oklahoma (5)

@ Baylor: 23-31, 372 Yards, 2 TD, INT; Rushing TD
Season Totals: 106-146, 1,665 Yards, 18 TD, 3 INT; 2 Rushing TD

Sam Bradford had a great tune-up for his big match-up with Colt McCoy and Texas next week. Once again, Bradford looked solid and did a great job leading his team down the field and scoring almost at will against an overmatched Baylor squad. This week will go a long way for both Bradford’s and the Sooners’ success as the season goes progresses.

This Week: #5 Texas

5. Jeremy Maclin, Sophomore, Missouri (4)

@ Nebraska: 5 Catches, 89 Yards, TD; 3 Carries, 15 Yards
Season Totals: 31 Catches, 480 Yards, 5 TD; 11 Carries, 58 Yards, TD; Return TD

Maclin had a good game against Nebraska, including a long touchdown pass. Eventually, the score got out of hand and Mizzou stopped throwing before Maclin could get some big numbers, but those are the breaks of the game and because of that, Maclin dropped a spot this week in my rankings. Against the Cowboys, Maclin will have to have a big day for the Tigers, and if he does, he could move up the board.

This Week: #17 Oklahoma St.

Dropped Out: None

Just Off the Radar: Mark Sanchez (USC); Knowshon Moreno (Georgia); Michael Crabtree (Texas Tech); Daryll Clark (Penn St.); Javon Ringer (USF); Glen Coffee (Alabama); Colt McCoy (Texas); Kellen Moore (Boise St.); Evan Royster (Penn St.)
