Ken Davidoff from Newsday.com wrote an interesting article about C.C. Sabathia possibly coming to the Yanks. Sabathia said earlier in the week that he is no longer only looking to relocate on the West Coast, and that the market is open to anyone. Davidoff believes that the players’ union will pressure C.C. to accept the highest offer out on the market, which is most likely to be the New York Yankees. The economy is in a bad phase, and many still believe that the Yankees will blow other teams out of the water on their offer. Most teams hold back on spending during these times, and it could really benefit the Yankees chances of landing him. Many experts still believe that he will sign with a West Coast team, but its all up in the air now. Only time will tell.
