Teammates say Curtis Martin done for good

The Newark Star-Ledger is reporting that New York Jets running back Curtis Martin, who has missed the first eight games of the season while on the physically-unable-to-perform list with a bone-on-bone condition in his right knee, will be placed on injured reserve, ending his season and probably his career according to several of his unnamed teammates.
We don’t want to say his knees is damaged beyond repair, but we heard that they called in Bob Vila with a sand blaster and 3 tubes of caulk and even he couldn’t do anything.
