Will Thrashers trade Hossa?

Insiders around the Atlanta Thrashers figure free-agent-to-be Marian Hossa, whom the team has thus far been unable to re-sign, will be traded only if players come back who can help the team win this year, not prospects or picks. That's because GM/coach Don Waddell, whose team has reached the playoffs just once in its nine-year existence, may need a postseason appearance this year to keep his job.
