No. 10 Butler 92, Cleveland St. 50 ? Pete Campbell made eight three-pointers ? six in the first half ? and finished with 28 points, and Butler showed its outside touch by making a school-record 20 threepointers in a Horizon League blowout of host Cleveland State last night. Ranked higher in the AP poll than at any time in school history, the Bulldogs (23-2, 11-1) extended their winning streak to nine in a row with an eye-popping display of offensive efficiency and marksmanship. Campbell led the way, making 8-of-11 shots from beyond the arc and Butler, which knocked off Notre Dame, Indiana, Tennessee and Gonzaga earlier this season, dominated the overmatched Vikings (8-18, 2-11) from the opening tip. Mike Green added 14 points, Brandon Crone 13 and A.J. Graves 12 for the Bulldogs, who made 20 of 33 three-pointers ? a league and arena record ? and set season highs in points, field goals, assists and margin of victory. No. 8 Memphis 70, UAB 56 ? Jeremy Hunt scored a career-high 30 points and Memphis (20-3, 10-0) limited UAB (11-12, 3-6) to 31 percent shooting in a Conference USA game in Birmingham, Ala. No. 12 Nevada 81, Fresno St. 68 ? Porter was 8 of 12 from the field with six three-pointers for Oregon, which scored its fewest points of the season. Aaron Brooks, who started the game as the Pac-10?s leading scorer at 20.8 points, equaled his season low with five points on 1-of-8 shooting from the field. No. 14 Washington State 58, No. 25 Stanford 45 ? Derrick Low and Kyle Weaver each scored 12 points and Washington State (20-4, 9-3) used smothering defense to beat Stanford (15-7, 7-4) in a Pac-10 game in Pullman, Wash., to reach 20 wins for the first time since the 1993-94 season. Stanford shot just 28 percent in the game, had 12 shots blocked and suffered 15 turnovers. No. 24 Arizona 72, Oregon St 66 ? Marcus Williams scored 23 points in another big performance against Oregon State (9-16, 1-11) and Arizona (16-7, 7-5) beat the Beavers in a Pac-10 game in Corvallis, Ore.
