Everyone's feeling the effects of Brady's injury... even retired players

This video shows the first round of a fantasy draft that included a number of HOF football players, including Jerry Rice, Marcus Allen, Tim Brown, Michael Irvin and Ronnie Lott. In hindsight, maybe that Tom Brady fantasy selection wasn't so smart after all.

Fantasy advice from Hall of Fame QB Warren Moon

There are 1,000 clowns out there peddling fantasy football advice. In some cases they're worth listening to, in other cases not so much. But when a Hall of Fame QB talks football, especially skill positions on offense, you should listen up. Here Warren Moon discusses Brian Westbrook, Calvin Johnson, Clinton Portis, and Carson Palmer and his top two receivers (T.J. and Ocho Cinco).

Ronnie Lott and Nnamdi Asomugha talk football

Oakland Raiders CB Nnamdi Asomugha is coming off his second-straight Pro Bowl, and of course Ronnie Lott went to a number of those himself en route to Canton. Here Nnamdi and the legendary 49ers safety talk football at Lott's recent Hall of Fame fantasy football draft with All Stars Helping Kids.

Darren McFadden's stock slipping?

Darren went #4 overall to the Raiders; however, in Ronnie Lott's recent fantasy football draft with All Stars Helping Kinds, Darren was on-hand to watch himself slip all the way to #26. Watch as he gets drafted by legendary Hall of Fame running back, Marcus Allen, and listen for what he has to say to all of those teams who passed him up.

Funniest man in the room: Michael Irvin

Michael Irvin wasn't the best football player in the room. He wasn't even the best at his position. But he absolutely stole the show when it came to making people laugh. Recently Yardbarker teamed up with Ronnie Lott and All Stars Helping Kids to throw a Hall of Fame fantasy football draft party. In addition to Irvin and Lott, the event played host to an additional dozen or so past or current stars, including Jerry Rice, Marcus Allen, Warren Moon, Tim Brown, Charles Haley, Brent Jones, Ted Hendricks and Tom Rathman, a former 49ers star who currently coaches Raiders RB Darren McFadden. McFadden attended along with teammate CB Nnamdi Asomugha.

Add this profile as a favorite and you'll be notified in your News Feed whenever we post new content from the event. We've got some interviews on stage, from the green room prior to the event, and also some footage of the draft itself. Each former player in attendance was on hand to help draft a fantasy football team. In case you're wondering, the first "reach" of the night belonged to... well, you'll just have to wait and see. Before the start of the NFL season, we'll release, along with more video, full team rosters drafted by the Hall of Famers.

In the meantime, check out this video of Michael Irvin making the most of his entrance.

Yardbarker helps Ronnie Lott help kids

Ronnie Lott will knock you into next week. Unless you're a kid in need. That's because the hardest-hitting defensive back in the history of the NFL has a soft side, too. Ronnie Lott's charity (All Stars Helping Kids) works to provide a safe learning environment for underprivileged children, and tonight ASHK is holding a charity event in San Francisco.

Tickets are still available, and a lot of great athletes will attend: Jerry Rice, Marcus Allen, Michael Irvin, Ted Hendricks, Warren Moon, Tim Brown, Charles Haley, Brent Jones, Eric Davis, Keena Turner, Darren McFadden, Nnamdi Asomugha, Justin Forsett, Thomas Williams, Justin Fargas, Joe Nedney, Adimchinobe Echemandu, Joe Alston and Lavelle Hawkins. Visit the link for tickets ($250). The event is in San Francisco, and it's a HOF fantasy draft. Basically, all of the Hall of Famers I just mentioned will be competing all season long in a fantasy football league hosted by Fox Sports.

If you can't attend, no worries. The Yard will be there. We'll be helping facilitate the event, and we'll capture some exclusive footage to share with the Yard throughout the season. If you want to stay up to date, add this profile as a Favorite so you'll get updates in your News Feed. Thanks to Ronnie Lott and all of the other athletes who are participating. We're proud to be involved with Ronnie off the field, because y'all know we wouldn't stand a chance with him on the field. The guy is a beast and a legend, the greatest off all-time at his trade. The guy who Roy Williams wishes he was. But that's another story for another time.

Join us at the event if you can, and if you can't, stay tuned in the Yard for updates from Ronnie and his football friends.
