It`s an indication of the diminishing respect that the world has for the United States. We give away our manufacturing superiority to every other country, and they all laugh at us, the stupid Americans. We buy their cars, their consumer goods, their bulding products, and yes their contempt. The Oriental leaders respect only strength, and we show them only our soft underbelly. Expect to see more travesties like this where the USA is concerned.

You can't leave off the controversial 1972 gold medal Olympic basketball game. This is probably the biggest cheat of all time. The USA Olympic Basketball team battled for the gold medal for the last few seconds against the USSR team. With three seconds left and the Americans leading the Soviets by one point, a Soviet attempt to run an inbounds play was aborted when their coaching staff interrupted game officials to argue that the team was due a timeout. Another play was run, which failed to score and sent the American team into jubilant celebration over their apparent victory. But the play was ruled invalid because the game clock had not been properly reset when the ball was inbounded. The clock was reset and a third play was run, on which the USSR scored a layup to and win, 51-50. The American team refused to accept the silver medals, and has never retreated from that position.

Coach Scott. I'm a diehard Philly fan but I would have to rank J.C. Romero up there. We won the world series but everybody knows that Romero bulked up because of the banned substances he was taking. We were the subject of a Sports Illustrated article about Philly having 100 seasons without a championship. That's seasons not years. We finally win a championship and our World Series hero J.C. Romero gets suspended for fifty games for cheating. I think that's why so many of us are bitter. It's easy to accuse other teams without proof then it is to admit our guilt.

EazyEagleZ. It's obvious you're a little behind when it comes to baseball. Manny Ramirez tested negative every year he played with the Red Sox. He tested positive with the Dodgers. There is no proof he ever did them with the Red Sox. You sound like you don't know anything about baseball. Do a little research before you come on. We don't start rumors about Ryan Howard because he's never tested positive. You're clean until you test positive. Do a little reading on the subject guy.

  Just cause he did not test positive while he was a Sauwks does not mean he was not using. A year after he leaves your team he is busted and Big Papi becomes little papi. Seems suspicious to me. That might hurt your feelings, but the Sox used a player that cheated.

I'm still going to go with the Phillies and J.C. Romero. If he didn't win two world series games Romero's name wouldn't have been in the spotlight like it is. I was just reading about the incident in Tampa with the reporter and J.C. Romero. I guess Tampa fans are still angry about Romero cheating in the world series. The article is in the usatoday. I can't say I blame the Rays but Romero should not be allowed to shove anyone. I think Juice is looking for another suspension.
