"When i came to Philly fromt eh UK in 1989 I got really hyped about the local football team having been deprived of my soccer and cricket and I got totally hooked on the Eagles and the Phillies. So I survived the 90's in varying stages of depression with the rest of the City. I gave up on Baseball in 93 and have never gone back. When Andy arrived and then Donovan we entered a period of wonder. The success starved 90's gave way to a competitive and exciting team put together with mostly a set of "also ran" recievers and running backs. We got that success for one reason, McNabb, I have enjoyed watching you over the years playing with barely an O line and no recievers and you still entertained me. I am not from here so I can avoid the primal emotion that is Philladelphia sports radio and its fans. I can cheer the other team if they do something well, I now appreciate the finer points of the game and wonder at the abilites and reaction times of some of the great players of the last 20 years, you are one of them, infact your one of the top 5 players of the last 20 years in my opinion. I am an Eagles supporter, what the team did was typical of a team without class managament. You and Brian and Brian should have been allowed to play your carreers out here with honor. "Donavan I have been an Eagles fan since I began watching Randall in the 90's. That ended the day you were traded. I will try to be short but I hope you show those idiots how much they screwed up. It is pretty simple to see that no one in the front office understands football. You had a great receiver for one year. Prior to that you played with guys like freddie mitchell, and pinkston who are no longer in the league, so that shows you what they were about. Your leading receivers have been westbrook, and chad lewis. No other team has a running back who has the receiving records. Reid is an idiot, who knows nothing about football. Every great QB has had a great receiver or 2 to build chemistry with. You got one for one year. Montana/Rice, Manning/Harrison and Wayne. Carson Palmer has yet to win a playoff game having had C.J and T.J. Only in a city as horrible as Philly would they boo a great QB like yourself, but they will see what they missed. I will try to get to a game this year at washington, I live in FL, and the last time I saw you play was in Tmpa when you brought them back, only to lose from a 62 yard field goal. You are truly a class act, and I will say what you can't. Your receivers have sucked, but for you to do what you have done with the garbage you had is amazing. Give it to them brother. Later."
