It's time for week 2 of the 2013 NFL Playoffs. Some good matchups this week so let's preview them. Shall we.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Denver Broncos: This is an interesting matchup between two really good teams. Denver has been great all year with Peyton Manning. He has changed that team. Joe Flacco looked great last week against the Colts and Ray lewis had a great game. It was his last home game of his career. But this is the game that ends the great career of Ray Lewis. The Broncos defense has been great for most of the year. Remember the Broncos beat the Ravens in Baltimore a few weeks ago 34-17. Just imagine what the Broncos can do at home in Denver. Prediction: Denver 30-17
Green Bay Packers vs. San Francisco 49ers: This is probably the toughest match up to predict this week. Now a lot of people would most likeley go with the 49ers based on having a good defense, a better running back in Frank Gore, and lets not forget the fact that it was the 49ers who beat Green Bay in week 1 30-22. And it was in Green Bay. But who was the starting QB for the 49ers at the time. Alex Smith. Now 4 months later Coach Jim Harbaugh has made Alex Smith a backup throwing 1 throw per game and has made Collin kaepernick the starting QB. And Rodgers wins that QB battle for sure. Rodgers has a lot more playoff experience that Kaepernick and looked great last week against the Vikings. The Packers should take this win in full stride. Prediction: Packers 23-14
Seattle Seahawks vs. Atlanta Falcons: This should be a good game to watch. The Seahawks have been red hot this last month and are coming off a huge win over RG3 and Washington. But I think Seattle's streak stops there. I know Matt Ryan is terrible in the playoffs for the Falcons but this is the moment where Matty Ice finally gets his first playoff win. Your at home and the Falcons are one of the best teams in the NFL. The Falcons will beat Seattle up with there great passing and running game. Lets also not forget the defense for Atlanta. Prediction: Falcons 34-24
Houston Texans vs. New England Patriots: Well these two AFC power house teams meet again. These two teams just meet in week 14 on Monday Night Football and the Pats dominated. 42-14. Tom Brady went crazy throwing 4 touchdown passes and had the whole team had over 400 yards of offense. I don't think you will see the Pats blow the Texans out like that in this match up but you will see the Pats win. Tom Brady has more playoff experience than Matt Schoub and is great at home. Plus lets not forget that if Brady wins this game, then he passes his boy-hood idol Joe Montana in most playoffs wins. Tom Brady shall get his 17th playoffs win this Sunday. Prediction: Patriots 35-21
Some good and a bold predictions this week. Enjoy week 2 of the 2013 NFL Playoffs.
