Well the New York Jets have finally released Quarterback Tim Tebow last Monday. The Jets released Tim after just one season of having Tim Tebow as their back up Quarterback. Tebow did not start a single game last season for the Jets and only had about 8 total pass attempts. For the last 2 or 3 months the Jets have tried to trade Tim Tebow to another team like the Jaguars but where unsuccessful in doing so. So the Jets had no choice but to release Tebow. The writing was on the wall that the Jets would release Tim Tebow, so this is no shocker to me. Rex Ryan and Jets constantly ignored and disrespected Tim Tebow by not starting him over Mark Sanchez. Mark was so bad that he ran into his own lineman's butt on Thanksgiving night against the Patriots that the Jets lost 49-19. But Rex just did not want to listen to his fans and just stuck with Sanchez who is not going to be the Quarterback that will give the New York Jets that Super Bowl Ring they have wanted for the last few years. I honestly think picking up Tim Tebow in March of 2012 was a stupid move that made no sense at all and was just a stupid publicity stunt made by the New York Jets. Because it sure as hell got a lot of publicity by the media and fans. So now I along with many NFL fans are happy to see the Tebow-Jets soap opera is finally over and Tebow is gone from the New York Jets. But not us NFL fans ask ourselves this question. What does the future hold for Tim Tebow? In other words, what team will pick him up. The Jacksonville Jaguars are in desperate need for a Quarterback but have been very outspoken on not wanting Tim Tebow. Which just shows you how screwed up that Jaguars team is. So in all honesty and fairness, I personally don't know what the future holds for Tim Tebow. I will say this, I don't want him to switch positions and be a Tight End. Tebow came into this league 3 years ago to be a Quarterback and that is what position he will play. Whether he can throw the Football or not.
