Pray for the best, Prepare for the worst

First things first we want to have a moment of silence for Michael
Jackson..........Now lets get down to bizness. They say time brings
change and change comes with time. I guess it was a matter of time
before it happened to me. You all read the news. Me and speedo have been
traded to Golden State for Jamal Crawford.

Man, honestly I don't know how to feel. One moment I'm happy and the
next I'm sad. I'm happy because it feels good to be wanted and I feel
like I will get a chance to play. Lets be honest Coach Woodson never
respected my game. I feel like a rookie again. Fresh new start excited
for what's about to come. You can say I got a chip on my shoulder cause
I do. Mark the day I return to Atlanta on your calender. I know I'm
waiting for the new schedule to come out.

I'm sad cause although I didn't get to play, I had some of the best
teammates you can ask for. Everyone was cool like family. Speedo said
the first time is the hardest. My man Greasy (Mario West) was like my closest
teammate. I wish he could come with me. Man, this year has been crazy
and the season aint even started yet. I want to know what you guys
think. Let me know if you feel Golden States a better situation for me,
or Atlanta was better.
Like they say pray for the best and prepare for the worst. Til next time

HOSPITAL VISIT

Yesterday, I went to spend some time with the kids at Scottish Rite Hospital in Texas. I really had a good time hanging out with the kids there. All the kids there was in good spirits and very upbeat. I played video games, shot some free throws, and played table soccer with them.. I got my butt kick in the table soccer but I did win a game of college football on XBOX.. Here's little history about the hospital and their program. Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children is one of the nation’s leading pediatric centers for the treatment of orthopedic conditions, certain related neurological disorders and learning disorders, such as dyslexia. There is no charge to patient families for treatment at the hospital, and admission is open to Texas children from birth to 18 years of age.

Offseason Summer Camps

What's going on YB?? Today, I'm hosting my annual basketball skills camp in College Station, TX, which is the home of Texas A&M University. I'm looking forward to it, I have about 125 kids expected to attend. Monday, I'm hosting another basketball camp in Dallas, TX. This camp is a week long camp, I love doing camps cause I'm able to give back to my roots and communities, but also help improve their basketball skills. June 22nd I'm hosting my 1st golf event, in College Station, TX. I have 15 golf teams taking part in it and I'm bring some of my NBA friends to come hang and take part. This event will help raise money for my foundation, along with that I'm having a silent auction on site during the golf event.. Yall can check out www.acielaw4.com for all details on each event.

During the rest of my time during the offseason, I been working out 5 days a week, nonstop!!!!!! I been doing drills, weights and pickup games with other NBA players in the Texas area. Trust me, when I tell you my body is soooo sore from these workouts. Man, I can't really explain it, I'm just working hard to make sure I'm ready for this upcoming season.

We lost in 4- 0 series to Cleveland last nite. It was a good season, and a good playoff run. Well, today is my 1st day of the offseason for me... Feels a little weird today waking up having to do nothing.. I'm getting ready to return to my hometown of Dallas, TX in a few days... Today, I'm just chillin with my homies and at my teammate house (Marvin Williams), but the summer really starts. Marv got the tattoo artist at his house, just doing tatts for all the homies ( Big Norm, Scout, Jawan) I'm getting my cross on my arm which I already had touched up and add some more features to it.... Awwwwwww man!!!! Lets get ready to rumble!!!!! (Michael buffer voice) Ok, its 530pm and I just got my wake up call from my pregame nap. Now, we have new series, new challenge, new game plan ahead of us right now vs the Cavs. I know the arena will be rocking today, plus Lebron gets his MVP Award today... My teammates and I are ready for the challenge and we came to battle and win this series... Tip off is at 8pm today... Game 5... Reporting Live

What's up YB?? just got to the arena not too long ago, getting ready for Game 5 which is like 2hrs away from tip.. I'm about to head to the court to workout with Mark Price for pregame workouts.. We got a strong and solid game plan tonite. It will be a good game, but we got to get this win tonite.... I'm heading to the court now...

READY TO FIGHT THE BATTLE!!!

Coming off a tough loss in game 3 in Miami, we battled back as a team and won game 4, leaving Miami with the series tied 2- 2... Now, game 5 is in Atlanta, at the Highlight Factory... Coming off a good practice today we will be ready to fight the battle for game 5... Stay tuned fans!!

PLAYOFFS!!!!

Finally!!! We're here to pickup at a place we left off at last season, and work so hard to get to this seasons PLAYOFFS. We got the #4 seed hosting Miami, this Sunday in Atlanta @ 8pm. I got all my friends and family coming to game 1 even my daughter will be making her first appearance at the arena since she was born, I'm too excited about that.

Today, We have media day for the playoffs, which will be pretty cool. Also, I'm getting treatment on my back, I'm feeling a lot better and making good strides of progress. So I'm expecting to make the playoff roster. Other than that, I'm just going to be chilling with the fam, resting, and getting mentally prepared for the playoffs!!!
