I can’t believe its been two years since I was at home waiting for draft day to come. I was nervous but excited at the same time. 21 years old not knowing what to expect or who was going to draft me. I didn’t know anything except that my whole life was about to change. I remember draft day like it was yesterday. I was in Denver, Colorado at the ESPN Zone with my family and close friends. All of them so excited for me, not knowing how nervous I was. That was the longest day of my life. It took what seemed like forever, but in actuality it was only a few hours, to finally hear my phone ring. But when my phone finally rang I heard my future coach tell me the Arizona Cardinals were going to draft me with the 50th pick of the 2008 draft I was the happiest man alive. It was a dream I prayed about and worked so hard for and it came true. So I know how exactly how these potential draft picks are feeling. They have been waiting for this moment their whole lives and now it is finally here. I can’t wait to see what happens Thursday when the draft starts. Good luck to everyone hoping to hear their name called. Especially the U boys. This is the first step to living your dream.
