Masquerade Party
It was a tough series against the Giants. As any Dodger fan knows, any time you play the Giants, you know it will be a good battle. Especially being this late in the season, and with us being in the playoff race, you know they'll be wanting to spoil our chances.
This homestand will be huge for us, against the Padres and Diamondbacks. We are at the point where we will have to win, if not, sweep these series, and hopefully get us on a winning streak.
A lot of people know about teams hazing their rookies and younger players. The vets had us do a little costume party after we finished the Chicago series. I was Robin Hood...no tights...got lucky. Other guys had it way worse, like Snow White, Popeye, a barely dressed fat woman, and others. When we got to San Fran. that night, the bus dropped us off about 6 blocks from the hotel, so we could show off our lovely outfits. It was quite entertaining. I'll work on getting some photos for all to see.

Ha. That's awesome. Love the inside scoop man. Those pictures are going to be too funny.

The Dodgers may be masquerading themselves as playoff contenders.....

Make a run and get in the playoffs.

those two late loses last week were pretty nightmarish...a sweep of the padres would be sweeeeet

This last series was rough. Broxton picked a bad time to start giving up home runs but he was so below the mean it was bound to happen. I think he's getting a little over used too. This Padre series has to be a sweep for you guys. I'm going to try and make it down to one of the weekend games but I've got so much school work to do it's looking impossible. I hope you guys rock Peavy tonight. I hate that guy.

Billz,
Man that musta been some sight for sure. You should have heard Steiner and Monday giving ya the biz on the radio that night. Steiner said something to the effect that it was a good thing you were all in SF as the costumes seemed to fit right in, in SF. Man, I was rolling, that had to be a "game on" thing for Steiner to say.
Bummer the series went the wrong way, but it not over until the Fat "Tomato" sings right?

What the hell is up with Broxton? Is Hendrickson giving him pitching tips or what? Chad, smite down those Padres tonight. Ethier will go 6-6 with 7 HRs. That's right, he'll have one more HR than at bat.

good start tonight chad. Seems like you battled some control problems and your mechanics a little but you still stepped it up and won a huge game for the team. That defines ace.

Great job last night Chad!! You have been our most reliable starter of late. I just wonder how many more wins you would have and the team would have if you had been starting all year. That would be important now ,when we are only 2.5 games out. It is exciting for us fans to see the
