Today was an important win for us and it feels good to get an all around team effort. I wrote the other day that we needed to get back to believing in one another. We addressed it in practice yesterday and everyone bought in. It's nice to see the smiles in this locker room again. My parents were visiting last week and my in laws have been in this week. My dad watched three losses and left with a bitter taste. I guess I can't invite him back. At least we get to send the in laws home with a split. They are here for the weekend and take off Monday. Tomorrow we'll be back in San Francisco so that we can take them over the Golden Gate Bridge. That will be the third time across in the last two weeks. We'll probably walk across tomorrow. After that we'll take them to dinner at the Olive Garden. I know, I know, all the great restaurants in the Bay Area and I choose the Olive Garden. I have seen all the commercials and they sucked me right in. My wife and I have literally played tour guides for the last couple of weeks. We have gone to Napa, Santa Cruz, Alcatraz, the Wharf. I definitely feel like a tourist all over again. My wife and I went to Meadowood and that is now my favorite place. We did some wine tasting, I'm not much of a wine guy, but I was for one night. I really overdid it. We were up there with our daughter Brooklyn. We got a great shot of her with a glass of wine in her hand. She's six months, but she'll be a wine girl I'm sure. The other place that really fascinates me is Santa Cruz. I'm not really hip on the surf culture but I can stand there and watch guys surf for hours. Who knows, maybe one of these trips down there I'll give it a try.
