Going into a uncertain 2011-2012 campaign, there are many things Cowboy fans are worried about.

• Will Rob Ryan make an impression enough to make a difference in his first year?
• Will Jason Garrett get the support from the players?
• Can the team overcome certain losses in key personnel?
• Will Jerry Jones be too involved yet again in 2011-2012?
• Can the Cowboys make the Super Bowl?
• Can the Cowboys even make it to he playoffs?

Leonard Davis of the Dallas Cowboys was released by the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday.

The move was one that made Davis a victim of that new salary cap of $120 million in the 2011-2012 NFL season.

In 2008 Davis signed a four year $22 million extension contract, and the 11 year vet started every game in 2010.

In a move that made me scratch my head, Davis's release obviously means the Cowboys were trying to get under the cap, as the Cowboys also signed Doug Free to a four year $32 million contract with $17 million of it guaranteed late Tuesday.

The Cowboys saved $6 million alone with the release of Davis.

With the NFL Lockout fresh off the agreements, the Dallas Cowboys are already getting started.

Reports from ESPN that Marion Barber has already been let go.

And WR Roy Williams has been let go as well.

Also OL Lenard Davis is expected to get released by the end of the day.

Marc Colombo came out of a meeting with Jerry Jones with his job still in tact. But as Colombo said, that “may change Wednesday Thursday or Friday.” He realizes it is a business.

Well it is official.

The NFL Lockout is over, and a new CBA has been signed, and will be ongoing for ten years.

The new agreement has a lot of new rules and a lot of different things for training camps, and practices.

With reports from many media outlets that the NFL lockout may be coming to a close next week, we have to look at the Dallas Cowboys and see what is on the horizon for this team in the 2011-2012 season.

Without question there have to be major changes in the way the Cowboys play in order for them to be successful in 2011-2012.

Let's review and take a look at what the Cowboys have to do in order for that success to happen, starting with the defense.

Well Wednesday was going to be the day.

The NFL players were vote on the new CBA agreement.

It didn’t happen.

There have been reports from ESPN that the players weren’t in full agreement as late as Wednesday night, because of not having enough information to realistically vote on the matters of the new CBA.

Some of the players have even stated that they are still giving up too much. So the controversy continues.

There are reports coming from ESPN saying, that the players are set to vote on the CBA early as Wednesday.

There was also a memo sent by the NFL to all 32 teams, instructing all the team executives to be present for a vote on Thursday in Atlanta regrading the new CBA agreement.

So what does this mean?

If you believe the reports, that mean they are so close to bring this Lockout to an end.

It also means, the NFL want a fast and quick vote so the teams can move on signing players, and get them into camp as soon as possible.

This is a very important week for the Dallas Cowboys.

The owners and players current negotiations seem to be going well according to most published reports (if you believe those reports).

This also is a critical week for those negotiations because the first official training camps in San Antonio could be canceled if that agreement isn't reached quick.

However, even if the owners and players do agree upon a new collective bargaining agreement this upcoming week, one needs to know that nothing will be done until all the details are settled with signatures on the new CBA from both the owners and players.

Well it is now official.

Not official that the Dallas Cowboys will close down training camp in San Antonio (that is close to happening)—but that the NFL Lockout is now getting out of hand.

It isn’t just the fans that are hoping the latest rumors about an agreement between the players and the owners are true—but the actual players themselves, as well as the owners are hoping it get done before it starts officially effecting the training camp schedules.

According to San Antonio Express-News the Alomodome’s, Mike Sawaya said the Annual kickoff concert is scheduled for July 28th, but Matt Mosley of foxsportssouthwest.com says he has sources that say that is hard to imagine. With talks of the Hall of Fame game being canceled, we now seriously have to worry about the status of the Cowboys San Antonio training camp, not becoming a reality.
