The time has finally come. I'm looking forward to taking the field tonight. It's been a while and I've put in a lot of hard work. Even though it's preseason my adrenaline is going to be pumping when I come out of the tunnel. That never changes. It's such a rush to hear your name announced and have 70,000 fans cheer you on. Wow… training camp is over and we can get to the preseason games. I won't be playing tomorrow night – I knew that for a while. The knee is holding up okay but Coach Reid is just being cautious. Looking forward to Friday night at the Linc. I haven't had a chance to talk to Mark Clayton about you guys in the Yard but I want to catch up to him during pregame and ask him about it. Is this the first time two Barkers are going head-to-head? Now that camp is over I hope to have some time to respond to your posts. Keep 'em coming. I love the feedback.

What did you think of my first video? After we worked out in the morning sun, we went and did some lifting at the gym. Then, later in the afternoon, we went back out to the field and worked on some football drills. Me and Charlie Frye of the Cleveland Browns were the QBs and we had about 12 guys running routes. Hello Yardbarkers. First off, I just want to say that I'm really excited about this blog and the opportunity to connect directly with you, the fans. I will be writing or posting video once or twice a week during the course of the season. Let me know what you think and I'll try to respond to your comments when I can. I've been doing this for 8 years now, every offseason since I've been in the league. For the last several years, I have hosted a few of my teammates for a week so that we can push each other and also enjoy some camaraderie. Take a look at our work.
