Responding to Questions
I was asked to respond to statements made at the NFL owners meetings that the Eagles would entertain offers to trade any of their three QBs. Here is my response:"My position hasn't changed. I've said all along that I would like to win a Super Bowl and finish my career in Philadelphia."I understand the situation well and just hope whichever direction the Eagles decide to go in, they do it quickly. I think that would be best for me, Kevin, Michael, the Eagles, and any other teams involved. No matter what happens, I've already begun preparing to have an outstanding season in 2010."

Donovan, you have been a great player who made Philadelphia football relevant again and, more importanty, have been a class act of the field & a great role model for my young son. I truly hope that you return to the Eagles & get the opportunity to finish your career here. However, should I not get my wish, please know that I will be a fan no matter where you end up & root for your continued success.

LOL this gocowboys2011 seems to have forgotten the HUMILIATION Eagles gave them 44-6 and they had all their star players. Funny that the Eagles, even with injuries all season long, rookies, and still ended the same as these Crygirls 11-5 and the Crygirls had ALL their star players healthy and once again got HUMILIATED by the Vikings 32-3 hahahha... gocowboys2011, I think you can now bury your face in the dirt and remember them awesome memories LOL oh, not to forget, Ravens humiliated Crygirls in their last game in their stadium and Giants schooled them in their first game in their BILLION dollar stadium LOL I love living in Dallas and love seeing the faces of all these fans when they lose, it is so awesome!
-
44-6 is your greatest memory in life hahaha
-
I agree...
-
itaintoveryet get a life. all we heard was all the eagle's were bringing to their last two games of this season. all the power player healthy & all the opps mcscabb had to offer. time for him & dog killer to find a retirement home for hasbeens. bye mcnabb won't miss ya.
-
the funky chic agrees lol
-
LOL I dont know about you guys, but the 44-6 HUMILIATION is very satisfying for me. Crygirls have 5 superbowl wins, but when was that? LONG TIME AGO! This team now SUCKS big time and yet I see cowgirls fans posting here when they should be worrying about their team. LOL and inmewetrust, get a life? LOL is that the best you can come up with? seems to me you have a turd stuck you know where and you cant pop it out.. um, you dont know what I mean? EXACTLY! man, this to me is like psychology 101 hahahaha

W-20-16...... W-24-0...... W-34-14

I agree the eagles have a great quarterback who has 6 pro bowls on his resume, but they dont want him I love seeing McNabb in the Eagles uniform but I hope he does get traded they dont deserve number 5 or a championship
-
LOL hey monster, Eagles BASHED Crygirls 44-6 to eliminate them from playoffs, and Vikings CRUCIFIED crygirls next season 34-3 LOL oh, and the famous Brooking crying (typical of crygirls fans as well LOL)
-
I couldnt have said it better ckudrick! Wherever Nabb goes I will be cheering with him, i just wish he stays in Philly!Nabb is a class act, and a great player!!!
-
Ditto, all he did was make them relevant again, its true what they say, Eagles fans are never satisfied, blame the coach for running the ball less than 10 times in back to back games against Dallas last yr. The Broncos would love to have McNabb!!! come on over lol

Donavan is a great role model! Many blessings.

Well spoken like a true McNabb fan. The sad reality is that the organization nor the fans of philly really appreciate McNabb. I knew that once they signed Vick and he showed that he could somewhat resemble the Vick of old, Donovan days were numbered. As the saying goes, one man lost is another mans treasure. Lastly Kevin SLob isn't the answer for them either.
-
Funny that the cowboys kicked the Eagles ass all last season...humiliation...how about the 24-0 we gave you? I think the real issue here is the fans of philly. You guys say "go eagles, fuckthe cowboys and everyone else." We say "go cowboys and good luck to opponent." I.e. ASSHOLE FANS WHO START RIOTS AND DO STUPID ASS SHIT AND EMBARRASS THEMSELVES TO THE NFL...good job.

Donovan, I love you man. I hope you're here for another 11 years. I don't feel you get enough respect at all. It will be a horrible 2010 season, and continue year after year if you're traded. Thank you for everything.

you r nuts philly87 ,go away, if denver thought that wat about elway they would have never won those two sb`s
-
Actually everyone from Philly is not hoping that cus I'm not.
-
Nah Phil87, it's much easier if you move to NE, Indy, or NO and jump on those bandwagons...you clearly don't understand what it takes to be a leader. Donovan does and should stay---you can go.
-
McNabb has stats that are just as good a Jim Kelly, and last time IO checked he's in The Hall, Don has at least 2 more good years in him. Where would Denver be if they let Elway go?? Not back to back SB's...believe in McNabb!!
-
you really are a schmuck mcnabb just does things differently that just proves he isnt a sheep being like everybody else. probably means you are a follower
-
Donovan, this guy is a putz!! I have been an Eagles fan for 35-plus years, and a Donovan McNabb fan for 12 years now. You are truely a class act, and I hope you are an Eagle until you decide to retire. Stay cool my brother!!!
-
dallas94 you're a fruit.....stop trying to act like a cowboys fan
-
Donovan its about time you put your foot down,Andy has been jerking your chain around. You have been the best qb we as Eagles fans have ever seen. I think Andy should go before you do. Tell Andy to get a def. then we can win. "In Don I Trust" Go Birds!!!

Donovan... I was your biggest fan coming out of college. Now I can't stand to see you quarterback the Eagles. You lost or never had any heart which is what Philadelphia deserves. You never got it!!! It's ok to be mad and angry if your team is playing poorly, but instead you decided to act like a goofball.I was even ok with you coming out playing the air guitar, but back it up man!!! Play like the game means something to you. I compare the eagles to a really good movie with a really bad ending. The truth of the matter is you are high inaccurate which is why jeff garcia ran this offense better than you ever did. The only reason you didn't have more interceptions were for two reasons. One you were afraid to take any chances and two not only were you inaccurate with your wideouts the defenders were nowhere close to your passes either. You had every chance to succeed here and you didn't get the job done. Your best years you beat up on some seriously horrendous NFC East teams. Maybe you and Dan Marino can start doing Isotoner comercials together. I don't blame you for all the Eagles misfortunes, but Don you were just as bad. You will never win a superbowl here or anywhere else. Why do you think Andy drafted kolb 4 years ago because he knew it too
-
amen!
-
dont listen to this fool named mikedog44 he`s a hater
-
exactly!!
-
Wow, mike, you are way off and bitter, too. I know you're bitter about not winning a SB, but get real...Kolb gives us a better chance??? NO WAY!!
-
YOU ARE A MORON!!!!!!
we have had continued sucess with Donovan at the helm.he has only just begun to get a few outstanding offenceive weapons to use at his disposal.if we let Mcnabb go we have Kolb. And yeah he had those two good games ,but lets not forget his first 3 games he blew hairy well you know what i mean!!!!Remember what he did when we had T.O.If we wre to let him go and i can speek for alot of fans aswell lets get ready for 4-5 LOSING YEARS OF FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
well said mikedog, and to all you other mcpoligists, just cause we lose a highly overrated QB that is inaccurate and folds under pressure, doesn't mean we are going to have a bad team. Hell we might even get better!
Any of you take chances? or are you too busy hiding inside your shell? -
lets see you step on the field and do what mcnabb has done. west oak lane all ways got your back mcnabb.
-
I do not think Donovan could do anything to please any of you hater out there. I hope Donovan go to a team that would appreciate him. Eagles has been to more play off than anyone and all you all do is complain you all going miss him when he going good luck Donavan your a great quarterback you need some help.
-
Mikedog you're full of it. First of all...people booed Mcnabb since he's been drafted. Second of all, your highly inaccurate charge is unbelievably flawed. Every season Mcnabb has low interceptions and good completion percetages/yards. That's a fact...he's the least intercepted Qb per pass attempt of all time, so he doesn't turn the ball over. If he was any other Qb he'd be praised for that. And how dare you compare him to Garcia or suggest Garcia was better..Garcia didn't lead the Eagles to the Superbowl let alone 5 nfc championships..you can't do that and be a bad qb. Football is a team sport..you say you're not blaming him for all the Eagles misfortunes when you practically are. Where were the eagles before Mcnabb Mike? Tell me..and what has Kolb done that proves he's better? You may claim you were "his biggest fan"...but truthfully, considering your exaggerated facts, belittling, and untruths,I doubt you ever were. Then you have the nerve to say he'll never win. Tell that to John Elway...it's obvious you know nothing about football
-
Kolb most likely wont throw up in the Superbowl. He probably wont overthrow wide open receivers streaking across the middle. He wont leave his wide outs hanging up in the air going after high passes. He wont throw at the receivers feet when they are wide open. He probably wont play the air guitar in the playoffs. Need i say more
-
You are one of the reasons I say this, YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT FOOTBALL that was the most dumbest, most ass backwards response i have ever read!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Excuse me how dare you say that Donovan has no heart when this man has played his heart out for the eagles for 11 years. So scoring 2 or 3 touchdowns and winning games with 3 different types of injuries and also with a sports hernia is considered not playing with no heart, if so you must be very confused

You worry about an eagles QB not responding when dallass players don't even post on here. Atleast he reaches out to the fans. Can't say the same for your team.
-
Lol he doesn't log on to yb and type that Kristin sorry to tell ya......also I wouldn't want a cowboys player to write a random article on yb knowing he will never reply.....it's pointless
also mcnabbs article title is kind of ironic..... don't you think? Lol -
Whether or not he writes it, he knows about it and has to agree to what it says before being submitted.
-
monster i wanna thank you for reminding me how classless and ignorant you and the rest of the cowboy fanbase is..losers
