Oregon LB Tony Koker (1990-1993)
Each week FishDuck.com’s Kurt Liedtke (better known as Keeerrrttt1) speaks with current/former student athletes, other FishDuck contributors, and outside experts–the FishDuck.com One-On-One.
This week Kurt is joined by Oregon Ducks linebacker Tony Koker. A native of Lebanon, OR, Tony played linebacker for the Ducks from 1990-1993. A back injury forced him to miss his senior year, the 1994 Rose Bowl year. An imposing figure at 6’4″, he was an important rotational player on special teams and at linebacker in the early 90s.
Tony now works for Wildish Construction, being in the unique position of going from a player metaphorically building the UO program to literally building the program, actively involved in many of the construction projects surrounding Oregon Ducks athletics in recent years.
