Rod Barnes’ tenure at Georgia State is over.
The former National Coach of the Year back with Ole Miss was let go on Sunday, according to multiple sources.
Barnes was 44-79 in his four years with the school and the Panthers are 11-18 overall and 6-12 in CAA play entering the league tournament.
Barnes came to Georgia State following one season as an assistant at Oklahoma. Prior to that, he was the head coach at Ole Miss from 1998 to 2006 – and took the Rebels to the Sweet 16 in 2001.
