Former Giants Teammates Have War of Words on Twitter
March 15, 2012
March Madness is officially underway with the constant "upset alerts" and over analysis shouted at us. Hey bracket guy, because every office has one don't they, how's your bracket looking. Some of you are feeling pretty good about yourselves because so far you have the perfect bracket but most of you have brackets that are garbage because that team you had going to the Final Four got beat earlier Oops! Always next year.
The only thing worse than bracket guy is gambling bracket guy, the guy in Las Vegas laying down action on some team he never knew existed. The same guy who bets on high school and the little league world series you know the degenerates. Wow you know you're a bad guy if you're betting money on children's sports but if it's sanctioned then you can rest assured there's money on it.
With all that's going on in college basketball if I am talking about two former NY Giants getting into a verbal fight on "Twitter" then you know something incredible was said.
It all started when reports were surfacing about Jeremy Shockey wanting to return to the NY Giants next season. Amani Toomer reacted to the report about Shockey when he tweeted, "No!! Shockey I will never play4you again! he yelled at jerry Reese in 08. Let him keep his word. Bad teammate. Worse person."
Shockey responded to that tweeting, "Amani Toomer on Jeremy Shocker: Bad teammate, Haha. Well he was the lazy one that broke my leg!!"
Toomer rolled into the back of Shockey's leg during a 2007 game against the Washington Redskins. Shockey wasn't done, he then tweeted, "Yes, remember when his ex divorced him and he urinated on her clothes I guess he's the good person. Go get a bucket of rocks and start throwing them at your glass house."
Shockey then turned his attention to the NY media saying he never mentioned returning to the Giants. "It's funny how the Ny media still try's to make money off me! Can anyone find a quote from me on me wanting to play for the GAINTS?" Shockey tweeted.
Well these guys couldn't have majored in english with the hatchet job they both have done. Now I know "Twitter" only allows 140 characters per tweet but come on fellas, mix in a spell check. If Shockey is correct and he never mentioned a return to the Giants then I totally get his anger.
Although Toomer didn't tweet much he called Shockey a "bad teammate" and a "worse person" in public. Then Shockey gets personal with it bringing up dude's ex-wife and what he did to her clothing...allegedly. Ok so who won the argument? Shockey or Toomer? I know who lost, the english language.
