While Philadelphia Eagles starting ORT Winston Justice didn’t end last season playing at a particularly high level, he’s still highly thought of by the coaching staff. Even so, he’ll have some competition next season.
"I'm comfortable with Winston. You know what was a pleasant improvement was (backup OT) King Dunlap,” Eagles head coach Andy Reid said during the recent NFL owners meetings. “He really improved and showed he's a legitimate contender for that spot. Winston ended up playing hurt last year and still did a pretty good job. But there's always competition. That's one spot where there's a good competition going."
Dunlap is on the final year of his rookie deal. Justice is signed through 2013.
