Free-agent FB Matt Clapp has been suspended by the NFL for four games, multiple league sources confirmed. It’s not known what he has been suspended for, but all NFL teams were notified of the suspension last week, so he will be eligible to play after Week Eleven.
The rookie has bounced around since he signed as an undrafted free-agent by the Detroit Lions on Apr. 29.
Clapp, out of the University of Oklahoma, was waived injured by Detroit on Aug. 18. He signed with the New Orleans Saints practice squad on Sept. 6, who released him on Sept. 13. Clapp signed with the Indianapolis Colts practice squad on Sept. 29, but was released on Oct. 19.
