Houston cuts veteran DE
The Houston Texans have waived veteran DE Adewale Ogunleye. To take his place on the 53-man roster, the team signed DE Tim Jamison off the practice squad.
Ogunleye, who was once one of the better pass rushers in the NFL, appeared in just four games with the Texans, and didn’t record a single sack in a backup role.
DE Mark Anderson, who had a sack during last night's loss at the Indianapolis Colts, has taken over the situational pass rushing role.
Jamison was signed by the Texans as an undrafted free-agent in 2009.
