In an ironic twist, Green Bay Packers Super Bowl winning QB Aaron Rodgers has surpassed his predecessor in NFL jersey sales, the USA Today reported.
Rodgers, who backed up veteran QB Brett Favre for the first three seasons of his NFL career, moved to the No. 2 spot in jersey sales, according to the report.
Rodgers, who was selected in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Packers, finished just behind Pittsburgh Steelers SS Troy Polamalu.
Quarterbacks take up the spots ranked 2-7. Behind Rodgers in order are Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Tim Tebow, Michael Vick and Tom Brady.
