The Indianapolis Colts will be without two key players when they host the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
As expected, starting SS Bob Sanders (biceps) will miss his eighth straight game. Backup S Aaron Francisco will continue to start for him.
Backup WR Austin Collie (concussion), who was injured during last week’s loss at the Philadelphia Eagles, will not play. Rookie WR Blair White will handle the No. 3 role this week.
The team also made two rosters moves on Tuesday.
Veteran CB Deshea Townsend was waived, which could be a sign the team is on the verge of getting back CBs Jerraud Powers and Justin Tryon from injury.
The team also waived LB Ramon Humber from injured reserve.
A source confirmed free-agent G Donald Thomas worked out for the team.
Thomas has now worked out for nine teams this season.
