The University of Texas could have two cornerbacks selected within the first two rounds of the 2011 NFL Draft.
While Aaron Williams is expected to go off the board in the late first/early second round area, Curtis Brown, who had a solid showing during Senior Bowl practices earlier this year, is expected to go off the board within the first 60 selections.
Brown, according to a source, is scheduled to work out for the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots before the end of the month. He’s also expected to visit the Pittsburgh Steelers, who are in need of a cornerback, within the next two weeks.
Brown (5’11” ½, 185), has good size and better than average speed for the position. What scouts like is Brown is willing to be physical—a trait which is rare for a young cornerback to possess.
