Without getting into a breakdown of all 32 opening events, here is a look into my crystal golf ball for this week's Accenture Match Play Championship at Dove Mountain, Arizona. Get your brackets out, follow along, make the corrections where necessary and bet with confidence. Jones Division: I see a Graeme McDowell v. Charl Schwartzel duel out of this division with Schwartzel emerging victorious 3 and 2 . Rory McIlroy gets bounced by Carl Pettersson 3 and 2 and will be the first no. 1 seed in the swimming pool. GMAC then defeats Pettersson 4 and 3 and Schwartzel defeats Jim Furyk 1 up to set up this match as Furyk misses a 5 foot putt on the final hole to square the match. Hogan Division: Will come down to Louis Oosthuizen v. Justin Rose. I am expecting big things from Rose this year, however I do not see him defeating Oosthuizen. Will be a close match but Oosthuizen wins 2 and 1. In a Thursday match, I see Sergio Garcia defeating Matt Kuchar 3 and 2 before Garcia loses to Rose. Player Division: Taking Webb Simpson over defending champion Hunter Mahan 2 and 1. Simpson defeats Tiger Woods on Friday 2 and 1 while Mahan gets the better of Martin Kaymer 3 and 2. Mahan gets to boast that he defeated the guy who made the winning Ryder Cup putt against Team USA but his glory will only go that far. Snead Division: Just cannot get past Luke Donald even though I try to beat him on various matchups. I see Donald defeating Ian Poulter 1 up on Saturday. Even though Poulter has only played one event this year, remember that he is an other worldly player in match play events and did win this event in 2010.. I see Donald defeating Nick Watney 3 and 2 on Friday and Poulter getting past Tim Clark 4 and 3 to set up this exciting match. Semifinals: Schwartzel v. Oosthuizen: Taking Schwartzel to win here 2 and 1. Simpson v. Donald: Donald wins rather convincingly 4 and 3. Finals: In the consolation match, I see Simpson defeating Oosthuizen 2 and 1. In the Schwartzel v. Donald championship match, viewers and spectators will get treated to some extra golf as it will take five extra holes for Schwartzel to finally defeat Donald in a match play epic for the ages. Both players make long putts (20 feet or more) to keep the match going in extra holes before Schwartzel makes a birdie to Donald's par on the fifth extra hole. Charl Schwartzel will be your 2013 Accenture Play Champion.
